Paper Title
Histopathology of Pancreatic Islet in Ageing Rats by Injecting Intravenously Human Wharton’s Jelly Mesenchymal Stem Cell

Abstract
The aimed of the experiment was to know the effect of wharton’s jelly mesenchymal stem cells by injecting intravenously in ageing rats. This study used 6 ageing male rats model which had been 24 months old. The experiment consists of two treatment groups. The control group (A) that received NaCl (0.9%) 0,4 mL and group treatment (B) received 5 x 106 cells/kg of wharton’s jelly mesenchymal stem cells were injected 4 times with the interval in 3 months. The end of the experiment (12 months), the rats were anesthetized and sacrified. The pancreatic tissues were collected to examine the pancreatic islets by histopathology studies. Changes of the pancreatic islet histological structure in control and treated groups (P<0.05) were examined using hematoxylin and eosin staining. These findings conclude that whartons jelly mesenchymal stem cell group have significant differences in terms diameter, perimeter, and area of langerhans than the control group.
