Zero - One Inflated Poisson – Sushila Distribution and Its Application

Abstract
In this paper, we present a zero – one inflated Poisson – Sushila (ZOIPS) distribution which is discrete distribution. Several statistical properties of ZOIPS distribution are explored, such as the probability mass function (pmf), moment about the origin, mean and variance. Maximum likelihood estimation of the parameters is investigated. An application of the distribution to a real data set is presented finally and compared with the fit attained by some other well-known distributions for count data.
