The Development of Children Gross Motor Skills at Bhakti Bunda Kindergarten Padang
The purpose of this study is to see how the implementation of the child's gross motor development in Bhakti Bunda Kindergarten Padang. This research is a descriptive qualitative approach. Methods of data collection are observation, interview, documentation, and field notes. The information obtained is then analyzed through three activity are data reduction, data presentation, conclusion or verification. Then to validate the data is checking with triangulation technique. Based on research has been done researcher concluded that the implementation of gross motor development of children in Bhakti Bunda integrated in the learning process carried out in accordance with the rules of the central system and especially on fitness centers. The implementation of gross motor development in Bhakti Bunda begin with discussion about learn design, the implementation is supported by the selection of learning methods and use of media in accordance with the needs and can developing gross motor skills of learners. Examples of development activities are modern games such as running relays, traditional game activities such as “galah” games, rhythmic activities such as gymnastics and dance, and hygiene habits such as washing hands and tying their own shoelaces. Evaluation of the child 's gross motor development emphasizes the process assessment with do observation and taking appropriate action based on these observations.
