Paper Title Study On The Melt Flow And Electrical Properties Nylon 66/Carbon Filler Composite With Processing Aid

Abstract
It is difficult to mold the polymer/carbon filler composites through the conventional extrusion process or injection process due to poor fluidity and processability due to the addition of high-content carbon filler. For that reason, the object is to add a processing aid to improve the flowability and processability of the polymer/carbon filer composites. In this study, carbon black(CB), multi-walled carbon nanotube(MWCNT), nickel coated carbon fiber(Ni-CF) were used as carbon filer. Polyethylene-Wax(L-C102N,L-C121N),2,2,6,6-Tetramethyl-4-piperidinyl(BIS) were used as processing aids. The nylon66/carbon filler composites with different processing aid types and filler content were fabricated by using a twin-screw extruder at 280 ℃ of die temperature. The complex viscosities and melt flow index of the nylon66/carbon filler composites were measured by using a dynamic rheometer and melt flow index tester to determine the melt flow properties. The filler dispersion and morphological characteristics were measured by SEM. The electrical characteristics were investigated by measuring the surface resistancand then the correlation between filler dispersion and electrical properties was analyzed.
