Mortality Effects Of Some Plant Derived Oils And Components Against Adults Of Colorado Potato Betle Leptinotarsa Decemlineata L., (Col.: Chrysomelidae)

Abstract
Mortality effects of seven plant oils and component derived different plant with different methods were tested against adults of L. decemlineata using dipping methods. With dipping application method at a concentration of 100 L/ 10 mL and 120 h application time caused 67-87 % adult mortality by carvacrol and thyme. The results also showed that increasing application times and concentrations caused increasing adult mortality for tested carvacrol and thyme . This study indicates that thyme oil and carvacrol can be used as a possible alternative for developing bio- insecticide controlling adults of L. decemlineata. Keywords- Plant extract.
