Paper Title
Structure And Conductivity Of PEO: Kscn

Abstract
Solid polymer electrolytes (SPEs) based on poly-ethylene oxide (PEO) and potassium thiocyanate (KSCN) have been prepared by solution casting technique. PEO and KSCN act as a polymer host and ionic charge, respectively. The vibrational spectra, X-ray diffraction pattern and ionic conductivity indicate a decrease percent of crystalline can improve the ionic conductivity. For 4:1 PEO:KSCN complex was examined by EXAFS to determine structure around the potassium ion. EXAFS result revealed that five ether oxygen atoms and two nitrogen atoms was induced by potassium ion to form a local structure. Index Terms- Solid polymer electrolytes, PEO:KSCN, EXAFS spectra.
