Paper Title
Building Administrative Multimedia Management Infrastructure For Efficient Wide Area Surveillance

Abstract
For efficient administration in wide area surveillance, multimedia management infrastructure providing cooperation between cameras is required for better response. Context aware computing with inference based on ontology is widely used in surveillance environment for social security. In such a distributed surveillance environment, surveillance devices such as smart cameras or sensors may carry heterogeneous multimedia data or biomedical data. In proposed administration infrastructure, each of the agents is built into devices for collaborative administration. For live multimedia streaming for mobile devices, media encoder and media streaming server are used. The mobile administration interfaces as well as web interface related to administrative center operation facilities, support efficient ontology integration and help adaptive and proper response to events.
