An Automated Algorithm For High School Admissions In Uganda

Abstract
The High School admission process in Uganda is intricate with varying parameters from school to school. Government affirmative action policies implementedthrough programs such as Universal Primary Education and Universal Secondary Education have resulted into unprecedented growth in High School enrollment. The high number of applicants necessitates a robust approach to selection. This paper presentsan algorithm for generating admission lists and assigning subject combinations for a typical High School in Uganda.
