Leveraging E-Business To Strengthen Performance: Evidence from The Jordanian Hospitals

Abstract
This study aims to investigate the impact of e-business on the performance of hospitals in Jordan. The data were gathered from 166 respondents who were both workers and managers in the private and public hospitals in Jordan. The researcher relied on the statistical package for social sciences (SPSS 28) and relevant statistical techniques to achieve the goals and objectives of this study. A random sample of 166 employees was used to assess the study hypotheses. The results were the most prominent is there is a statistically significant effect of e-business to improve job performance among workers at hospitals in Jordan. Also, there is a statistically significant effect of the infrastructure for e-business structure to improve the performance of staff at hospitals in Jordan. In the light of previous findings, the researcher developed a set of recommendations as follows: There is a clear impact of e-business on the performance of hospitals, so the managers must develop policies and strategies to increase the effectiveness of e-business. Also, there is a need for adequatetraining of staffoncomputer applications to reachthe desired goal. Keywords - E-Business, Performance, Jordanian Hospitals, Business Management.
