Paper Title
EDUCATIONAL PARAMETERS AND ORGANIZATIONAL DOMAINS AND INDICATORS FOR PROMOTING MORE INCLUSIVE EDUCATIONAL SYSTEMS DURING PANDEMIC

Abstract
Abstract - Globally, education and/or the educational systems have been significantly impacted by COVID-19 pandemic. Disabled students (DS) have been struggling with equitable and quality education for decades, with disparities being further exacerbated by the pandemic. Educational systems were found unprepared for both the organization and delivery of education as well as for addressing competently the challenges encountered by their school communities, student cohorts, and DS. Focusing on the needs of DS, this paper presents the results from a scoping literature review of articles published from 2010 to 2022. The review aimed to identify and critically analyze the organizational preparedness domains and indicators per domain that can inform the development of organizational preparedness plans of inclusive educational organizations to manage effectively future pandemics and/or disaster crisis. From the 1564 peer-reviewed and preprint identified publications in six scientific databases (PsycInfo, Web of Science, Eric, Scopus, ProQuest, JSTOR) and one academic search engine (Google Scholar), 216 publications were included in this study. The analysis of the study identified six organizational preparedness domains and 14 indicators. The thematic analysis of the results highlighted the need for the organizational preparedness in educational organizations in pandemic crisis times to be prioritized in the policy dialogue for educational systems and/or educational organizations. In this regard, this study contributes towards a system thinking change approach in education with a special focus on the educational inclusion of disabled students.
