Analysis and Quality of Literature Textbooks in Upper Secondary Education in Kosovo

Abstract
The main purpose of this research is to highlight the shortcomings and shortcomings of literature textbooks, especially in upper secondary education, due to the more sensitive age of students in education and in general cultural and literary formation. In the preparation of this research are used different methods, combined, which enable the achievement of the goals set out in this paper. So I used the method of theoretical analysis, descriptive, comparative, then inductive and deductive methods as well as statistical. The population of this research are high school teachers from seven regions of Kosovo. The selected sample consists of 46 teachers of vocational schools and 80 teachers of Gymnasiums of 21 municipalities of Kosovo. Questionnaires for teachers of gymnasiums and vocational schools were used in conducting the research. Importance of research- Given the need for innovations and changes in textbooks in general and those of literature in particular in the field of knowledge in general, continuous changes in the education system in Kosovo and in our schools, drafting policies, strategies, KESP , The new curriculum, the provision of various trainings for contemporary teaching, are necessary and the revision of textbooks, also after the drafting of new plans and programs, textbooks should be drafted and evaluated. The results of the research show that in the textbooks of literature, the alleged omissions, such as the non-inclusion of some Albanian writers of different periods can be eliminated in the future. This is due to the objective reason, because it is understandable that not all writers of all time periods can be included, so the selection is imposed as a necessary criterion, so that the text does not come out voluminous.
