Paper Title
Electrolysis Gold Plating on Silver Plate from Potassium Cyanide Bath

Abstract
This paper presents a process of gold plating on a silver plate by electrolysis using a potassium cyanide bath. Among the plating materials, gold has the best standard electrode potential. In Myanmar, people wear accessories such as rings, necklaces, chains, and hair clips that are made with gold. And almost all of the Buddha’s statues and pagodas are made from gold by a method of gliding. But after a few years later, it is needed to polish or coating again because of the corrosion. And it is needed too much gold to produce accessories. So, the present study examines the corrosion of gold plating on a silver plate to reduce the cost and amount of gold used. In this study, the factors affecting the plating were conducted. Keywords - Gold Plating, Electrodeposition, Plating Bath, Corrosion, Potassium Gold Cyanide, Anodic Dissolution.
