Leveraging Transformational Leadership

Abstract
Companies are faced with an enormous amount of information regarding major workplace trends and they need to prioritize them effectively so that workable HR policies can be formulated and executed for achieving effective performance for the organization. There are a lot of concerns happening in the companies in the context of how businesses are run and people are being managed there. In order to address such issues, project management leadership trended towards transformational leadership. Transformational leadership aims at fostering and motivating followers to achieve much more than what they thought can be possible and thus achieve outstanding results for the company. The purpose of this paper is to describe the trends and issues related to transformational leadership as a style of leadership and its usefulness for IT projects.
