Causality between Ordersand Fixed Investment Expenditures

Abstract
Causality between Ordersand Fixed Investment Expenditures Orders are important indicators to predict future macroeconomic variables and investment expenditures are essential for economic growth, employment and income. Forecasting or timing investment expenditures may help managers and investors as well as policy makers. Thus, for the period of 2007 and 2019 is studied to shed light causal relationship between investment expenditures and orders received by firms if any. This study provides evidence that there is mutual, statistically significant Granger causality between total orders and fixed investment expenditures and export orders are the Granger cause of fixed investment expenditures. The paper provides a limited discussion about investment literature and orders as well. Keywords - Investment Expenditures, Export Orders
