Thai Youth Tourists’ Travel Behavior towards TV Series

Abstract
This research utilized the quantitative method to survey the demographic profiles, the Thai youth tourists’ behavior and level of tourists’ pull factors towards Thai TV series. A total of 400 youth tourists in 4 region of Thailand who are willing to travel in Thailand after have watched Thai TV series in the year 2015 – 2018 were examined with questionnaires of demographic profiles and the attributes of the Thai TV series shooting location which are the pull factors affecting their travel decision. Mean and standard deviation were used to defined the top ten travel motives that were the important attributes to the tourists. The finding showed that the pull factors of the Thai TV series shooting location influencing Thai youth tourists to select their destination choices included the variety of accommodation choices, the government’s tourism promoting campaignes, the destination has been promoted to public, the plentiful of scenery beauty, the accessibility of the destination, the current trend, the tour package, the diversity of tourism activities, the service minds and courtesy of local people, the self-promotion to social media and the uniqueness of the local culture, respectively.
