The Benefit Of Strategic Alliances For Small And Micro Community Enterprises In Thailand

Abstract
This qualitative research aims to discover the using of strategic alliances by SMCEs and the benefits. An in-depth interview with semi-structured interviewed form is used as a tool to collect data through 47 SMCEs in processing food products in Saraphi District, Chiang Mai Province Thailand. The study shows that SMCEs use the strategic alliance the form of informal relationship with government agency and education institute to build the capacity of entrepreneurship. Human capital development, Product development, accessing alliances� resource and achieving financial resources are benefits from using strategic alliance. However, the understanding of mutual benefits from alliances should be clear. Index Terms� Strategic Alliances, Small And Micro Community Enterprises, Benefit.
