Paper Title
Does Enjoyment of the Outdoors lead to Environmentally Sustainable Actions?

Abstract
The relationship between spending time participating in outdoor activities and participating in environmentally sustainable actions is explored with Canadian household level data. An outdoor activities index is created to measure the level of participation across 14 outdoor activities. Preliminary regression results with probit and tobit models suggest participation in outdoor activities is associated with a variety of lifestyle and conservation behaviours toward sustainability.
