Paper Title
Clustering to Balance Energy Consumption using Back Propagation Scheme in Duty Cycled Wireless Sensor Networks

Abstract
Wireless Senor Networks are network of devices or objects having in-built sensors which gathers information from surrounding regions and transmit it to the base station or end user. The two major concerns in these networks are to reduce the energy consumption and data traffic. In this work, the focus is on to reduce the energy consumption by minimizing the energy drain-outs. In general, the nodes involved in transferring the data for a long duration are more prone to faults in terms of energy. The possibility of a fault to occur is very high within these networks. Thus to minimize the chances of a fault to occur within the networks, this work proposes a Clustering to Balance Energy Consumption using Back Propagation (CBEC-BP) scheme. To implement, evaluate and investigate the performance of the proposed scheme in terms of various parameters, Network Simulator tool is used. The energy consumption, delay, Jitter, Routing overhead of the network is reduced significantly by applying the proposed CBEC-BP approach.
