Paper Title
Encapsulation of Virus-Like Particles by Composite Nano particles Comprised of Spider Silk Protein and Chitosan

Abstract
Virus-like particles (VLPs) formed by virus capsid proteins are one major type of recombinant vaccines against virus infection. To deliver the VLPs orally for fish, it is necessary to produce the VLPs in a cost-effective way and improve the bioavailability of VLPs in the gastrointestinal tract. We established a simple protocol to obtain purified nervous necrosis virus VLPs from E. coli. The VLPs were encapsulated successfully using chitosan nano particle and composite nano particles containing chitosan and a spider silk protein fragment, respectively. The composite nano particles loaded with VLPs were stable at low pH (3.0) and pH 7.5. Keywords- Virus-like Particle, Nano particle, Spider Silk Protein, Chitosan.
