Paper Title
Hybrid Control of a Counter-Rotating Wind Turbine using a Matrix Converter

Abstract
In this article, the hybrid control (HC) of doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) integrate in counter-rotating wind turbine (CRWT) using a matrix converter is presented. The HC method combines the advantage of fuzzy logic and high order sliding mode. The scientific researches show that a CRWT system could extract more electrical energy compared to a single rotor wind turbine from the same wind speed. The standard sliding mode controller (SMC) has large chattering on the active and reactive powers generated by the DFIG. In order to solve this problem, the high order sliding mode with fuzzy logic is proposed. Simulation results presented at the end of this paper have demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed control.
