Paper Title
Identification, Remediation of Sediments With High Chemical Properties With Cost Effective Measures from Albertine Graben Water Bodies in Western Uganda

Abstract
With Uganda at an exciting moment of oil drilling, there has been heavy machinery installation and a lot of construction works in preparation to exploit this nature’s endowment. This has however, come with increased distribution of contaminants such as oil spills in the aquatic environment. This adversely affects the aquatic system of the region which is one of the most ecological sensitive areas of the nation with many game parks and estuaries. Oil exploitation is much imperative in socio-economic transformation of every country but should all that be at the expense of depleting the nature and subjecting some of the rare species to extinction? This leaves the question of who is to blame at the end of the day. This paper therefore, inculcates on all the possible sources of contaminants that are likely to be experienced in these water bodies and what’s anticipated to be experienced and how best they can be removed by using latest technologies considering cost effectiveness when oil production commences in Uganda.
