Highly Stable Bimetallic-Support ZnTiO3 Cubic Perovskitedispersed Reducible Ni/TiO2NPs for Superior H2 Production from Phenol Steam Reforming

Abstract
Bimetallic zinc titanate (ZnTiO3) cubic perovskitedispersed highly reducible Ni/TiO2nanoparticles (NPs) for selective H2 production via phenol steam reforming (PSR) has been investigated. Significantly, enhanced activity and stability were obtained in structured Ni/TiO2/ZnTiO3 composite compared withNi/TiO2 NPs. Ni/TiO2/ZnTiO3revealed H2 yield of 75.6% with 50 h reaction time, while yield of 56 % and stability for 6 h were obtained with Ni/TiO2NPs. More importantly, Ni/TiO2/ZnTiO3 composite prevented coke formation due to the strong metal-support interaction and higher Ni dispersion over the cubic perovskite structure. Keywords - Hydrogen production; Zinc titanium oxide (ZnTiO3); Phenol steam reforming; metal-support interaction; Cubic perovskite.
