Paper Title
Teacher Motivation Affecting ICT Integration

Abstract
Research on ICT integration in education showed how teachers’ attitudes affect their decision in using ICT, however few studies examined teacher motivation factors in Japan. This paper reports an analysis of preliminary findings from a quantitative study of teachers in Central Japan to establish factors influencing their utilization of educational technology. Preliminary results suggest that various factors pertaining to confidence and perceived advantages on pedagogy and learning affect teachers’ attitude on ICT integration.
