Simulation Of Adiabatic Packed-Bed Reactors For So2 To So3 Reaction Using Matlab

Abstract
Simulation of SO_2+1/2 O_2 □(↔┴(V_2 O_5 ) ) SO_3, ∆H<-98.928 kJ/mol reaction is being carried out for an adiabatic packed-bed reactors using MATLAB. The effects of inlet compositions of reactants, initial pressure, feeding temperature, total inlet flow rate, reactor diameter and catalyst particles diameter on conversion and pressure drop were investigated for a single packed-bed reactor.
