Paper Title
Milkfish Waste as Protein Source Alternative in The Diet of Litopenaeus Vannamei

Abstract
The research was conducted to determine the maximum level of milkfish waste can be used in the diet of Litopenaeus vannamei. This study used experimental method based on Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 3 replications. Five diets (30% of iso-protein and 3.60 kcal/g diet iso-energy) were formulated with fishmeal protein replaced by milkfish waste protein. The replacements were 0, 25, 50, 75 and 100 % (A, B, C, D and E, respectively) of fishmeal protein. Parameters observed and analysed were: survival rate, specific growth rate, feed conversion ratio, protein efficiency ratio and protein retention. The results showed that the treatments had no effect on all parameters. Based on the results, it can be concluded that fishmeal protein can be replaced by the milkfish waste protein up to 100% in the diet of Litopenaeus vannamei Keywords - Milkfish Waste, Litopenaeus vannamei, Protein Replacement
