Policy Strategy In Reducing Logistics Costs In Indonesia And Thailand

Abstract
Research is very necessary to find ways to make logistics costs in Indonesia more efficient, the right strategy is needed to reduce logistics costs in order to reduce the price of goods. Indonesia's logistics costs in 2017 reached 23.5% of Gross Domestic Income (ALFI, 2018). Indonesia's logistics costs for the Gross Domestic Product of ASEAN ranked 5th after Vietnam (25%), Thailand (13.2%), Malaysia (13%), Singapore (8.1%). The government has tried to reduce costs by simplifying licensing. cut the waiting time for goods at the port. However, this does not have an optimal effect on high logistics costs. the right strategy is needed to reduce logistics costs, one of which is a comparative study looking at examples of strategies from other countries in reducing logistics costs
