Paper Title
Orientation Effects in Buoyancy Driven Flow Inside Porous Square Cavity

Abstract
Natural convection in a two-dimensional inclined square cavity filled with fluid saturated porous medium is numerically studied in this paper. The square cavity is maintained at constant hot and cold wall temperatures on its two vertical walls while other two horizontal walls being adiabatic. Steady state numerical solution of non-dimensional governing equations for momentum, continuity and thermal energy equation is obtained using control volume approach. Non-Darcy formulation for momentum equation is incorporated. Local thermal equilibrium(LTE) between solid and liquid constituents is assumed. The inclination ranges from 0 to 360 with respect to horizontal axis. Numerical results are validated from Benchmark result. Effects of porosity and Darcy number are well investigated for porous bed model. Keywords - Natural Convection, Porous medium, Control volume, Porosity, Darcy number, Square cavity
