Factors Affecting Attitude Towards Product Quality Management Of Operators: A Case Study Of An Air Condition Parts Factory In Thailand

Abstract
The objectives of this research were 1) to study the attitude towards product quality management of operators in air condition parts factory and 2) to study the factor affecting attitude towards product quality management of operators in air condition parts factory. The research instrument was the questionnaire. Data were collected from 215 production operators of an air condition parts factory by simple random sampling method and analyzed by using statistical program. Statistics include percentages, arithmetic means, and standard deviations. Multiple linear regression analysis was performed for hypothesis testing. The results of the research were as follows: 1) the level of attitude towards product quality management of operators in an air condition parts factory was quite good and 2) working environment and training and development had the positive influence on attitude towards product quality management of production operator. In addition, management policy, organizational support, and compensation and motivation had no effect on the attitude towards product quality management. All independent variables could explain the variation in the attitude towards product quality management of production operator at 49.9% Keywords- Attitude, Quality Management, Air Condition Parts, Working Environment, Training and Development
