Design and Development of Weather Modification Rocket Launcher

Abstract
This paper presented the design analysis of weather modification rocket launcher to support the rainmaking from cold cloud operation and hail suppression of weather conditions. The elevation angle mechanism was designed and numerically analyzed using Finite Element Analysis (FEA). The objectives are to numerically obtain the stress and deformation behaviors distributed on the Launcher by applying static load. The results showed that the stress acting on structure is not over yield stress of the material.
