National Heath Policy: A Case Study of Government Pharmaceutical Organization as a Drug Storage

Abstract
The research on the “National Health Policy: A Case Study of Government Pharmaceutical Organization as a Drug Storage” has objectives to: 1) study the general management conditions of the government pharmaceutical organization, and 2) study the guidelines of national health policy-driven of the government pharmaceutical organization as a drug storage. The results show that, under the general management conditions of the government pharmaceutical organization, the management pays attention on policy formulation and management planning. There are meetings on the continuous basis in which the management discusses about the organizational policies. Some of the employees want to pursue their career based on what they have as their educational background. Therefore, the management must make sure that they have put the right man for the right job in order to create work motivation. The employees’ participation in management is encouraged to make sure that employees at all levels have the capability to achieve the national strategy both in short- and long-term period, and 2) on the guidelines of national health policy-driven of the government pharmaceutical organization (GPO), it is found that the GPO should maintain the medical cost of production at a low level and should have a medical treatment process in order to promote a healthy society. The promotion on the participation of employees is needed for the development, improvement, the operation to be modernized and effective. There should be a medical security, and an acceleration of innovative medicines in both conventional and herbal medicines. As a results, GPO must be committed with the invention, research, development, and production of innovative products in the medical system of the country.
