Pneumonia Diagnosis Automated System Using Organnizing Map Algorithm
This paper aims to diagnose Pneumonia infection using image processing algorithm and artificial neural network. A group of infected and normal x-ray images are prepared using segmentation and feature extraction then using Self Organizing Map algorithm to classified them. Using artificial neural network is to build a database of different cases of pneumonia infected and normal x-ray images, training the network to detect the infected image. This system shows a good performance in processing, comparing, and detecting the infected images.
